Afghanistan is changing and today was an important day in its history.
Every country has particular days in its history which are important and the final withdrawal of US and UK troops has created an untenable position for many.
I have heard many stories from friends with personal connections with the country and the news are (currently) full of stories from Kabul.
Every day, news stories emerge and claim time in news broadcasts, but how long before Afghanistan is not mentioned on the evening news bulletins - at least not those of the UK based organisations.
