It's not everyday that you see the sea, unless you are very fortunate to live next to it...
Today it was down to Devon for our family holiday in the delightful small town of Topsham.
This is such a wonderful place to spend time.
I remember when I was a child, heading for the caravan in Skegness or Cayton Bay where we used to go, trying to be the first person to see the sea... and shouting "I can see the sea". I lived near the sea in Norfolk for 12 years, and still loved the path along the fringe of Ken Hill Woods near Snettisham when the blue of the Wash would come into view...
