Jul 18: The Landscapes inside Us

He refers to another book that I have in my collection: 'Wayfinding'.

Humans don’t possess inbuilt bio-compasses, but we do have something arguably more powerful: storytelling. Our remarkable navigational ability as a species is closely connected to our ability to tell stories about ourselves that unfold both backward and forward in time.

The piece also references the work of the filmmaker Agnes Varda, who my son has been studying. Check out the film below. There are so many avenues that this piece leads you down. I look forward to having time to meander along these paths in more detail...
