Geographers appreciate there are many different definitions of this term, and this depends on context as always. I could fill a book with definitions of the local.
At the moment, there is some clear advice for us all, and if you are reading this as a teacher then there is a clear connection with the concepts of space and place.
It is important that we stay local. This is becoming part of our lives. For most of us anyway: there are always going to be those who think they are outside the rules.
