"Clouds reveal the architecture of the atmosphere"
- Gavin Pretory-Pinney
I'm a member of the Cloud Appreciation Society and have been since it started. I also attended the first CAS Conference at the RGS back in 2015.
Living in the UK, seeing clouds is pretty much a quotidian experience - there have been a lot of them so far in 2021.
It's a fair bet that there will be some clouds in the sky if you look out and up right now while reading this, although the sky has been obscured for the last few days here in Norfolk.
If you like clouds, you could also join the Society. Or visit the site for a range of cloud related gift ideas. And as the cumulus said to the stratus when playing tennis, "you cannot be cirrus"...
For cloud spotting wisdom you can't beat a spot of Calvin and Hobbes.
