Jan 30: The everyday importance of logistics

One quotidian experience is waiting for a parcel (or your weekly shop) to be delivered. And the number of online orders and deliveries is growing every year...

If you head for the Geographical Association's website, you will find a significant resource on this theme that I wrote, which turned out very nicely at the time. I was asked to write some materials on the theme of logistics and transport for the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

The resources are designed for KS3 and can be seen here.

There are 8 units, which are connected with the 8 strands within which CILT operates.
