And the number of online orders and deliveries is growing every year, and has accelerated about 5 years worth of growth during the last year when for many it was the only way to receive groceries and other items.
There are now more deliveries than ever, and as a result our cities are changing. Circumstances have changed since the original publication of this item, but New York and some American cities are changing to accommodate deliveries, according to this BBC News article.
This is down to the growth of deliveries to homes and businesses from online retailers.
