Dec 5: Storm surge - 8 years on

Eight years ago, I went round the Norfolk coast following a storm surge which impacted on towns and villages around the coast from Blakeney to Hemsby and beyond.

I took images of the damage in the communities that I passed through and spoke to some of the people who were filling skips with sodden carpets and erecting fences around damaged areas.

Cromer pier and seafront needed repairs and this album contains some more images of the repairs.
