Apr 24: National Parks

For many people, crossing a boundary and entering a National Park is a daily occurrence. 

National Parks were introduced into the UK in 1951, when the Peak District was designated as an area protected for the good of the nation, as well as for those living in the cities of Sheffield and Manchester who would now be guaranteed of an open space for recreation and exercise.

This video looks at one of our National Parks.
